چکیده

Tubular turbines are widely used in low water head and tidal power development due to their straight flow path, simple structure, wide efficient area. However, the severe vibration during actual operation greatly affects safe of tubular turbine. This study performs a numerical calculation turbine, which meets machine conditions considering free surface gravity; compares analyzes characteristics pressure fluctuation spectrum turbine under different heads; verifies comparison with test results explore mechanism Research show that large difference is observed between top bottom runner chamber, needs experience periodic fluctuations rotation combined effect hydrostatic hydrodynamic pressure. Under heads, obvious turbulence high turbulent kinetic energy areas draft tube influence shape blade wake vortex. The mainly concentrated influenced by gravity structure transverse cantilever beam. amplitude largest when frequency inside passing at each head, so maximum position located runner. research serve as guide for design horizontal

a comparison of teachers and supervisors, with respect to teacher efficacy and reflection

supervisors play an undeniable role in training teachers, before starting their professional experience by preparing them, at the initial years of their teaching by checking their work within the proper framework, and later on during their teaching by assessing their progress. but surprisingly, exploring their attributes, professional demands, and qualifications has remained a neglected theme i...

Numerical Simulation of Free Surface Flows and Comparison of Symmetry and Real Boundary Conditions at the Free Surface

For implementation&#10 of the free surface boundary condition, a new subroutine has been introduced to an existing steady 3-D body fitted code. This code was previously written for steady flow simulation in closed ducts. The algorithm used in this subroutine reduces the instability problem according to the free surface wave generation. For code validation, it was applied to two different open c...

Surface Effect on Nonlinear Free Vibration Analysis of Nanotubes

In this work,The free nonlinear vibrations of nanotubes using the Euler-Bernoulli beam theory along with the von Kármán geometric nonlinearity in presence of surface effects has been investigated. Natural frequencies of a simply-supported nanotube in terms of the Jacobi elliptic functions are obtained by using the free vibration modes of the corresponding linear problem. The numerical results d...

A Numerical and Analytical Solution for the Free Vibration of Laminated Composites Using Different Plate Theories

An analytical and numerical solution for the free vibration of laminated polymeric composite plates with different layups is studied in this paper. The governing equations of the laminated composite plates are derived from the classical laminated plate theory (CLPT) and the first-order shear deformation plate theory (FSDT). General layups are evaluated by the assumption of cross-ply and angle-p...
